I don't use AI as a shortcut. I build custom models, feed them my sketches, and together we create something neither of us could alone.

BIOGRAPHY

Richard Nadler is a contemporary digital artist based in Munich, Germany, whose innovative work explores the dynamic interplay between tradition, artificial intelligence, and digital media. Nadler transitioned into the art world from a fast-paced career studying business and finance and working in London's banking sector. Raised in the scenic Bavarian countryside, his creative awakening was shaped by early exposure to the arts; his grandfather and mother were painters, and his father was a passionate collector of African art. Following a serendipitous introduction to the creative potential of blockchain and the early generative art movement, Nadler chose to leave his finance career to become a full-time creator.

Nadler's artistry is deeply infused with personal narrative and cultural resonance, most notably his profound connection to Japan. Shaped by extensive childhood travels across the country with his late father, these formative memories of serene landscapes, rich cultural traditions, and vibrant cities act as the emotional core of his work.

Positioned at the vanguard of the digital art movement, Nadler views artificial intelligence not as a replacement for human ingenuity, but as a powerful, collaborative tool. Rejecting the simplicity of "raw" AI outputs and easy prompt-entering, he builds custom-trained models and frequently integrates his own handmade sketches into the generation process.

Today, Nadler's hybrid artworks have garnered international recognition and have been exhibited widely across Europe, North America, and Asia. From showcasing his pieces alongside established legends at Art Miami to pioneering curated drops with platforms like Verse and SuperRare, his footprint in the fine art space continues to expand.
